Kinesiotaping is a modern and innovative approach to taping developed over 30 years ago. Kinesiotaping uses a dynamic (instead of rigid) tape allowing properly trained practitioners to accelerate recovery by promoting or inhibiting circulation to decrease swelling or promote / inhibit muscle contraction.
