With a strong passion for health and fitness, being fascinated by human anatomy and improving the lives of others, Gabriela pursued a career in physiotherapy to align these values. She completed her physiotherapy degree at Curtin University where she gained broad experience in both rural and international health settings.
“I enjoy the diverse nature of physiotherapy that invests into people achieving their goals and getting back into what they love! I feel humbled to be a part of this process and impact the physical and mental well-being of the community at a local level.”
Gabriela has developed a keen interest in treating patients with complex chronic pain conditions, areas of spinal pain, posture related aches and rehabilitation of upper and lower limb injuries through evidence-based and individualised programs. Valuing the importance of health and fitness in maintaining a coherent lifestyle, she employs manual therapy techniques and Pilates and exercise rehabilitation to improve performance in sports and physical activities.
Gabriela also has experience working as a head trainer with amateur sport clubs treating sporting injuries on and off field.
Outside from work, Gabriela enjoys her time with family and friends, the beach, dancing Latin and hip hop styles and trying something new to add some spice! Currently she is taking on kick boxing as well as board sports such as skateboarding and surfing!
