Completing her physiotherapy degree through Curtin University, Simone developed a deep curiosity and subsequent knowledge of the musculoskeletal system. As an avid sports woman experiencing an array of injuries, she understands the profound effect an injury can have on multiple facets of one’s life.
Using a holistic and patient centered approach, Simone loves working closing with individuals to reach their goals and positively impact their lives.
“I understand the anguish an injury can have on someone’s life, so the opportunity to help someone and make a positive impact on their life makes the job barely a job rather a privilege. The manner in which it is a skilled profession of growth and self-improvement is also extremely compelling.”
With her background in high level competitive sport and working with high level football, soccer and hockey sporting teams, Simone has developed a keen interest in sporting injuries to the lower limbs and the shoulders, along with chronic pain presentations. She has also further developed her clinical skills and completed additional training in dry needling.
Simone also has great respect for the disabled population and over the years has developed several programs geared around facilitating participations in sports. Of late, she has been involved with developing a WA para-canoe program out of Ascot Kayak Club and recently returned from a month stint in the Kimberly providing physiotherapy sessions to primary school aged children.
Away from the clinic, Simone loves everything to do with the water, being an active Surf Life Saving member and passionate kayaker. She loves a new active challenge, of late beginning adult ballet classes alongside her mother and grandma. In saying this, you may equally find her bingeing on a Netflix show with some ice-cream and a jigsaw!
