Additional Training
Louise’s background in violin performance gives her a deep appreciation for movement, precision and discipline, which she brings into her physiotherapy practice to support each of her clients in achieving their goals.
Her clinical experience spans hospital, private practice, neurorehabilitation, aged care, and paediatric settings, giving her a broad perspective and adaptable skill set. Louise has a special interest in playing-related injuries in musicians and is developing her knowledge in paediatrics and women’s health. She also incorporates Pilates principles into her treatment to support movement, strength, and recovery.
Louise’s treatment style is collaborative, evidence-led, and goal-focused. She takes the time to understand each client’s story, assess their needs thoroughly, and create a plan that combines education, hands-on therapy, and exercise. Her aim is to empower people to move confidently, stay active, and feel in control of their health.
Outside the clinic, Louise enjoys reading, travelling, road cycling around Victoria (or virtually on Zwift), Pilates, and discovering Melbourne’s best coffee spots. She’s always up for a chat about books, bikes, or brunch recommendations!
