Hi, I'm Mark Piscopo!

Physiotherapist at Cockburn

Mark graduated with Distinction from The University of Notre Dame, driven by a long-standing passion for health, fitness and sports. His interest in physiotherapy began during high school after sustaining a football injury, sparking an urge to help others recover from physical setbacks. Before pursuing his physiotherapy studies, Mark completed a trade certificate in Carpentry and Joinery, a background that continues to inform his interest in occupational and work-related injuries.

Mark has a particular focus on musculoskeletal health and sports-related injuries, with a special interest in hip and knee rehabilitation. He is committed to delivering high-quality, individualised care, grounded in thorough assessment and evidence-based exercise prescription. In addition to his understanding of physiotherapy, Mark is also trained in dry needling, which he integrates into treatment when appropriate to support recovery and improve outcomes.

With his previous experience in the construction industry, Mark brings valuable insight into the physical demands of manual work and has developed a strong interest in treating workplace injuries. He enjoys supporting his clients through the workers compensation system, helping them regain strength, function and confidence in their bodies.

A former footy player and lifelong sports enthusiast, Mark remains active in his downtime. When he’s not on the golf course refining his handicap, he enjoys spending time at the beach or park with his dogs, or relaxing with his partner—often talking about his latest round of golf!
