James decided to pursue a career in physiotherapy due to his love for sport, exercise and science, as well as interacting with, and helping people. He completed his studies at the University of Melbourne, graduating in 2011.
He is highly trained in the management of spinal and peripheral musculoskeletal conditions and exercise rehabilitation, though he is most passionate about (and skilled), in occupational physiotherapy. This includes the management and prevention of work-related injuries, pre-employment assessments, onsite physiotherapy treatment and manual handling and injury prevention training, having completed the Early Intervention Physiotherapy Framework Training with WorkSafe/TAC.
James is also credentialed in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (The McKenzie Method), which has developed his skills in managing musculoskeletal disorders of the spine and peripheral joints.
He also enjoys treating sports related injuries and helping his clients return to their chosen sports through exercise rehabilitation.
Outside of work, James enjoys running, playing golf and watching a bit of AFL and cricket.
