Janice is a dedicated physiotherapist who completed her Doctor of Physiotherapy at the University of Melbourne.
Originally from Hong Kong, Janice competed as a high-level swimmer and handball player before moving to Canada, where she completed her Bachelor of Kinesiology and Physical Education (Honours) at the University of Toronto.
It was during her time in Toronto that she developed a strong interest in managing musculoskeletal conditions such as neck and back pain, shoulder and knee injuries, muscle strains and post-surgical rehabilitation. Janice is passionate about helping people return to the activities they love with confidence, strength and better movement.
During her time in Toronto, Janice gained valuable experience in orthopaedic post-operative care and sports rehabilitation, working as both a physiotherapy assistant and sports trainer. She developed a particular interest in treating neck, lower back and knee injuries, and takes a holistic approach that combines manual therapy with exercise-based rehabilitation, including Clinical Pilates.
Janice’s treatment approach centers on improving movement efficiency, building strength and supporting long-term injury prevention and she is passionate about creating tailored, evidence-based treatment plans to support each client’s recovery and performance goals. She enjoys working with people of all ages and abilities, helping them reduce symptoms, move with confidence and return to the activities they love.
Outside of the clinic, Janice can often be found practicing her latte art at home or attending reformer Pilates classes at her favorite studio in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD.
Janice is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
