Hi, I'm Brent Vanderloop!

Physiotherapist at Midland

Brent Vanderloop is our full time physiotherapist at Life Ready Midland.

Brent treats all areas of pain and injury with use of the Selective Functional Movement Analysis (SFMA) of which he is an accredited practitioner. The SFMA provides a better understanding of the root cause of pain rather than treating the symptoms. This is very beneficial for patients especially those who are experiencing reoccurring pain or injury.

He also specialises in golf physiotherapy. He is level 1 and level 2 Medical Professional Certified by Titleist Performance Institute (TPI). He was accredited in Tokyo by Dr. Greg Rose, the founder of TPI. For more information about golf physiotherapy please see his website www.perthgolfphysio.com.

Brent has also worked with amateur football clubs in Perth and is the physiotherapist for the Perth Thunder semi-professional ice hockey team.

Brent has experience working in both Canada and Australia, which has provided him with well rounded knowledge. He has an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology (sports science) from the University of Western Ontario and a Graduate Entry Masters of Physiotherapy from Curtin University of Technology.

Brent is certified in dry needling, which he uses regularly. He also has a Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety and provides physical work capacity assessments for employers.

Away from work Brent is a fanatical sports fan who is constantly keeping up to date with the latest news and his fantasy sports teams. He has a passion for golf and is a member of the Western Australian Golf Club. He spends most weekends getting in a round or two when he isn’t taking his dog Leroy to the beach.
