Growing up as a sports enthusiast, Cherry experienced several sports injuries, and from this, an interest in anatomy and physiotherapy started to grow. In order to pursue her dream career as a physiotherapist, Cherry left Hong Kong, where she was born and grew up. She relocated to Perth to complete her Physiotherapy degree at Curtin University. With an initial interest of sports injuries and musculoskeletal physiotherapy, Cherry gradually became interested in neurology rehabilitation after going on neurology placement at an outpatient setting. What Cherry likes most about being a physiotherapist is to see improvement and goals being achieved by patients through individualised and patient-centered care and treatment sessions.
Outside of work, Cherry enjoys playing beach/ indoor volleyball, cycling, hiking, snorkeling, singing and going to the beach.
