Sophia completed her undergraduate physiotherapy degree at Curtin University, and was able to gain clinical experience across a range of settings including musculoskeletal, cardiopulmonary, neurological, as well as in spinal cord injury rehabilitation. During her studies at Curtin, she has worked as a sports trainer for a local rugby team and also as a dance teacher.
Sophia is passionate about working together with clients to achieve their goals and help them build confidence in their functional abilities. She has a keen interest in neurological rehabilitation, particularly in stroke and spinal conditions, and enjoys finding creative ways to work around the challenges and difficulties that these conditions may present to help patients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.
Outside of work, Sophia teaches dance classes and is active in a dance team. When she isn’t busy with dance-related events, she enjoys going to dessert cafes, photo/video editing, and is an avid houseplant collector!
