IMPORTANT: If you have a fever, cough, sore throat or shortness of breath and you have travelled overseas in the past month, it is important you seek medical care early. Please contact us via phone prior to making an appointment or visiting our clinics.
Life Ready Physio Tullamarine is servicing patients in our local community and our neighbouring suburbs of Airport West, Keilor, Keilor Park, Gladstone Park, Gowanbrae and Westmeadows. Our number one priority is achieving the safest and fastest recovery and optimal occupational health for our clients – getting you back to work or back on the field, and back to living your best life as soon as possible.
We are a satellite clinic, which means we are intimately sized and operated through Life Ready Physio Point Cook, and are a convenient connection point for our clients. While we offer a reduced set of allied health services, we find that it’s perfect for patients who live locally and are in need of basic physical therapy, assessments and follow up appointments.
We do offer our full suite of physiotherapy services including, sports physiotherapy, Medicare Chronic Disease Management, workers’ compensation and insurance claims and exercise rehabilitation, complete with individualised patient care and high quality service.
Your body deserves the best treatment, so if you have a work, motor vehicle or sports injury, are recovering from surgery, or even having just aches and pains, our experienced physiotherapists are here for you.
Our Team at Life Ready Tullamarine
Born in Singapore and raised in Perth, Joel made the move to Melbourne to pursue his studies – graduating from the University of Melbourne with a Doctor of Physiotherapy – and to experience the “most liveable city in the world”.
During his studies, Joel gained experience in a variety of sport clubs including the Melbourne University Blacks VAFA-B, Australian Men’s Masters hockey championships, state level athletics, swimming and triathlon teams. He also has two years of experience at Brunswick Hospital helping patients with their rehabilitation and achieving their physical health goals.
In the musculoskeletal setting, Joel has a special interest in low back pain, lower limb rehabilitation and shoulder injuries in both sporting populations and everyday people and loves to individualise treatment options such as exercise-based rehabilitation and soft tissue techniques in a patient-centered manner, ultimately seeing patients walk out the door pain- free and return to doing what they love.
Outside of work, Joel has a love for sports – both as a player and fan – including basketball, tennis and badminton. He also loves to embark on road trips as a traveler, photographer and cinematographer.
