After graduating with a physiotherapy degree from Curtin University in 2013, Jezamine has gained experience working predominately in the private practice setting, as well as some community based work.
Jezamine enjoys all aspects of physiotherapy rehabilitation, particularly knee and ankle injuries in the sporting population. She also enjoys working with people who suffer from persistent pain like low back pain or arthritic conditions. She is passionate about providing up to date, evidence based management for her patients and takes the time to listen and get to know her patients, enabling her to work with them and assist in developing a patient specific plan to help people achieve their goals.
Jezamine believes that an injury is more than just a body part, and considers other factors that are known contributors to pain such as high levels of stress and poor sleep hygiene. More recently, Jezamine has developed an interest in nutrition, and has begun educating herself on this interesting and complex topic to assist in helping patients achieve the best possible outcomes.
Away from work Jezamine enjoys an active and healthy lifestyle, and loves spending her time outdoors in the sun, playing netball, socialising with her friends and taking photos of her fur-baby, Henry, at every opportunity. She also is not adverse to the occasional Netflix binge, and is still struggling to over come her online shopping addiction!
