Our sessions are physiotherapist-led and incorporate Pilates inspired exercises, strength and conditioning principles and general physiotherapy clinical framework. Based on your initial assessment, our programs are individualised and involve a comprehensive treatment plan, so you are geared towards living your best quality of life!

Why do I need an initial assessment?
Your physiotherapist will need to assess your past injury history and current fitness levels, then design and closely supervise an individualised exercise program tailored to your specific health goals. This exercise program will include movements to tone and strengthen your muscles within the limits of your comfort.
We suggest that you wear comfortable and non-restrictive clothing (including socks) to your sessions.
Once you are performing the exercises safely and correctly, you will be encouraged to use the equipment more independently, though you will be fully supervised by our physiotherapists and re-assessed throughout the duration of your program.
Clinical Pilates is not one-size fits all. Every body is different! At Life Ready, our physiotherapists will use three sessions to design you an individual Pilates plan to ensure you get the best results!
Our physiotherapists will first assess your capacity for different exercises, screen for injury risks and take a medical and injury history. Within
this session your physiotherapist will identify weaknesses and imbalances that are affecting your function and create a tailored plan to optimise your body.
This session will take place entirely in the Clinical Pilates space going over the basics of reformer Pilates. Your physiotherapist will run you through the building blocks of reformer training ensuring correct technique, muscle activation and postural alignment.
Here, your physiotherapist will
expand on session two and run
you through more complex Pilates movements, incorporate a larger range of equipment and create a greater challenge for the body, all whilst reinforcing basic Pilates principles.
