How Do We Work with You?

Before you join us for your first supervised exercise session of Clinical Pilates, you might want to better understand how we work with you, as well as what you should be wearing and bringing on the day.

Your Initial Assessment

To begin with, we invite you to schedule an initial consultation with one of our Pilates-trained physiotherapists. During this appointment, you will be able to talk in detail about your current situation and future goals, as well as ask any questions or clarify any doubts you may have.

Based on your assessment, your physiotherapist will prepare a custom Clinical Pilates program for you. This is a combination of Pilates-inspired exercises, strength and conditioning principles, and general physiotherapy clinical framework.

What You Should Wear and Bring

In preparation for your first Clinical Pilates session, choose clothing that’s comfortable and that you can easily move in (most type of activewear will be fine). For hygiene reasons, you will also need to wear a pair of socks – preferably, grip socks.

It’s also a good idea to bring a bottle of water with you.

What Session Format We Use

According to the type of Clinical Pilates session that you are attending, you may be on your own with your dedicated physiotherapist, or in a small group of people working towards a shared goal.

You will initially be encouraged to attend one-on-one sessions to familiarise yourself with the practice, equipment, and exercises. Once your therapist believes that you are ready, you will be able to move on to fully-supervised small group classes with a maximum of three participants (including you).

How Much Our Clinical Pilates Sessions Cost
